I’ve been hearing from a lot of different people in my life that they’ve been going through a tough season. Whether there have been lots of changes, negative situations happening, or maybe just added stress it seems like a lot of people are in one of those seasons. I wanted to take the time to encourage all of you to keep going. Don’t allow the seasons of your life stop you from pursuing the things God has put in your heart, your passions, your giftings etc. Don’t allow this season to take away your peace & your joy, keep pressing on. Last weekend at church a picture was put out to us & it was how Jesus was being spat on, His beard was being ripped from His face, He was whipped, slapped, & made to carry a heavy cross, but He kept going. He kept going because He knew that the end result was going to far outweigh what He was experiencing at that moment. It’s the same for us, I don’t know what you’re experiencing, but I know that you’ll come out on the other side victorious because God is on our side. The enemy loves to push against God’s people because he wants you to give up. The enemy knows that God has amazing things in store for you & he’ll do whatever he can to try & discourage you, don’t let him. Don’t give up on your passions & things you love doing, choose to work even harder on those things, choose to focus on the good in your life. For the past few years, I’ve been making monthly video diaries filled with happy moments of my life & I always love looking back at them because no matter what I’ve gone through I have visual reminders of the good things in my life. Make an effort during these seasons to focus on the good & to keep going after the things that bring you joy. God has great things planned for your life, don’t get discouraged your breakthrough is on its way.
But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
2 Chronicles 15:7
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
